Submit two applications; one to the UGA Graduate School and one to the Department of Nutritional Sciences.
If you are applying to or currently enrolled in a Master's degree program at UGA, do not submit a graduate school application when applying to SNDCP. Contact the department at sndcp@uga.edu for instructions.
- Graduate School Application-
- Select "Athens" for campus
- Select "non-degree or transient" for degree level
- Select "Non-degree Foods & Nutrition Certification Program" for intended program
- Select Non-degree as the major
- Applicants are not required to submit test scores or letters of recommendation
- Include your Resume or CV and a Statement of Purpose with your Graduate School appliction
- Send Official transcripts from the institution that awarded your highest degree as well as official transcripts from any other institutions attended showing coursework relevant to the SNDCP directly to the Graduate School.
- Complete and submit the School Nutrition Director Certification Program Departmental Application online.

Information for Admitted Appicants:
- The Graduate School will email your offer of admission.
- The Department of Nutritional Sciences will send you a suggested program of study
- You must start the semester you were accepted or request to change the starting semester by contacting the Graduate School before semester start
- You must enroll at least once every 3 semesters. If you do not, your active student status will expire and you will need to reapply and provide materials and pay application fees again.
- Once admitted, we can provide an employer letter. Request the letter by emailing sndcp@uga.edu
