Academic advising is an important component of your academic experience at the University of Georgia. You must meet with an academic advisor every semester before registering for classes.
Students should be full participants in the academic advising process. Although your academic advisor provides advice and guidance, each student is responsible for knowing and understanding the policies and degree requirements for their chosen major.
Find your advisor’s name in the contact list below, and then follow the instructions for scheduling an advising appointment. For other questions, please email success@uga.edu.
