Why I chose my major

Choosing financial planning for my master's degree was a natural decision for me. Throughout my life, I have always been passionate about personal development and financial success. Financial planning offers the tools and knowledge to empower individuals to make informed decisions about their finances, which is crucial for anyone managing significant income for the first time. Then came the recent changes in college athletics, allowing student-athletes to profit from their Name, Image, and Likeness, that piqued my interest along with the new challenges and opportunities it provided. I wanted to be part of the solution in helping student-athletes navigate these financial waters. My goal is to use my education to empower others, helping them to understand and manage their finances effectively, and ultimately to achieve their financial goals.

What I like most about FACS

I have made so many connections and friends since being in FACS. Everyone is warm and just amazing. The environment is so supportive and enriching with my professors and fellow classmates always making me feel like I can touch the sky. FACS has and will forever have a special place in my life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. GO DAWGS!

Post-graduation plans

I will be working towards passing the CFP exam in November.
