- Why I chose my major
I first chose HDFS because I’ve always wanted to work with and support families, and I love how HDFS prepares its students for a variety of career settings. Although I didn’t know exactly what career I wanted to pursue at the start of college, I felt confident HDFS would give me the foundational developmental knowledge of children and their families to thrive anywhere. Choosing HDFS was one of the best decisions I made in my time at UGA!
- What I like most about FACS
Every FACS class was so welcoming, and I loved the encouraging environment provided by both professors and peers. Dawson Hall is truly the happiest building on campus, and I knew I was loved and valued every time I stepped foot there!
- Post-graduation plans
Beginning this summer, I’ll be attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to pursue my master's of education in school counseling to become a certified school counselor upon graduation in August 2025.
