- Why I chose my major
I chose my major because I quickly developed a passion for nutrition after seeing how nutrition could help my autoimmune diseases. Ever since then, I knew I wanted to help other people see how much nutrition could do for them, which is why I chose dietetics. Every nutrition class I’ve taken has been so interesting and has just deepened my passion for my career. Additionally, the dietetics staff and my cohort are absolutely amazing; they have truly made Dawson Hall feel like home. I can’t wait to start my career and do something that I am truly so passionate about!
- What I like most about FACS
I love FACS because you can really make a second home in FACS. Since it is a smaller college compared to others, it feels more personal, and it has felt easier to make connections with students, professors, and faculty. Additionally, FACS is very diverse and has so many academic options. FACS has truly made UGA feel like my home away from home!
- Post-graduation plans
After graduation, I hope that I’m accepted into a DI program to get closer to my goal of becoming a registered dietitian. Once I complete my internship, I hope to continue practicing as an RD and eventually specialize in pediatric nutrition or oncology nutrition
