Georgia Southern University

Why did you decide to transfer to UGA?

After spending some time in college and being able to hone in on my interests, I realized how beneficial it was to attend a university that offered something related, but that would also support me. After doing research, I found that UGA truly would have me set up for success from the very moment I was accepted. Deciding to transfer is something I wish I had done sooner, but I am forever grateful that I have the opportunity to graduate from the greatest university. Go Dawgs!

What activities or student organizations do you participate in?

FACS Student Ambassador, HOUSE President, IREM Student Member, Legacy Youth Mentoring

What do you like about FACS?

I love that FACS offers diversified majors that reach every point of human needs. I love that every major boils down to benefitting others. Being a part of this college has made me realize that there is nothing better than being surrounded by people who work to continuously to change the lives of others.

Is there a faculty or staff person who has been particularly helpful during your transfer journey?

What has your favorite UGA and/or FACS experience been?

My favorite UGA was experience was my first day on campus as an official student. The excitement to walk on campus and know that I was surrounded by some of the most incredible people, while finally studying something I loved, it was an unmatched feeling of gratefulness.
