Why I chose my major

I chose my major because of the vast applications of nutrition. I have been able to apply my knowledge inside and out of the classroom, from community nutrition to nutritional neuroscience, and have gained so many formative experiences from it.

What I like most about FACS

I love the College of Family and Consumer Sciences because “family” is in the name. My best friends, closest mentors and favorite classes have been in this college. It is truly unlike anywhere else on campus.

Post-graduation plans

After finishing my AmeriCorps term in Athens, I will be relocating to gain technical laboratory skills before applying to Ph.D. programs in hopes of becoming a professor.
