- Why did you choose your major?
I switched to dietetics after studying chemistry for two years. I liked chemistry but wanted to pursue a career that helps others and is people-centered.
- Why did you want to be a FACS Ambassador?
I wanted to become a FACS Ambassador because I love what FACS has to offer and wanted to share my enthusiasm for the college!
- What do you like most about FACS?
I love that FACS has a small college atmosphere while still being able to leverage the resources of UGA. With FACS having a small college feel I’ve been able to get to know my professors and classmates very well.
- What advice would you give to new students?
I would tell new students to try as many different new student organizations as they can that they have an interest in and then pick a few to stick with. I would also tell new students to not be afraid to pursue new academic interests and to talk with their professors about them.
- What is your favorite place to study on campus?
My favorite places to study on campus are the third floor of the Science Library and the fourth floor of the MLC.
- What is one thing you wish more people knew about FACS?
I wish more people knew that FACS offers so many different programs of study with different career paths. I think some people that don’t know that much about FACS don’t realize how much it has to offer.
