I chose dietetics because it combines my passion for food and nutrition with the ability to help others live a happy, healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
- Why did you want to be a FACS Ambassador?
I wanted to become a FACS Ambassador so I could share my amazing experience with others. In FACS, I have found a welcoming and passionate community of students and faculty members who all strive to help each other reach their fullest potential.
- What do you like most about FACS?
The FACS professors and advisors set you up for success and go the extra mile to give you worthwhile experiences, real-world help and professional development beyond simple classroom education.
- What advice would you give to new students?
Take the initiative to seek out all the opportunities UGA has available to its students and apply to things that align with your passions. You never know what doors could open, and the worst they can say is no!
- What is your favorite place to study on campus?
Science Library or Science Learning Center so I can grab a study snack from Einstein Bros Bagels.
- What is one thing you wish more people knew about FACS?
There are a wide range of majors that appeal to many interests and FACS helps you discover all of the unique careers and ways to apply your degree post-college.
