- Why I chose my major
As someone who changed their major and felt very lost and confused for a period of time, I appreciate how the knowledge I have acquired in my HDFS classes is applicable in a variety of career settings. I have always known that I wanted to help people, and learning about development and the greater systems/contexts in which one develops has provided me with a strong foundation of understanding from which I can support individuals and families.
- What I like most about FACS
I am appreciative of how supportive the entire faculty in the college is. They truly want us to learn, grow and succeed. Dawson Hall is such a special place!
- Post-graduation plans
I will be staying in Athens for one more year to complete my Double Dawgs program and will be graduating in May 2025 with my master's of arts in Nonprofit Management and Leadership! Go Dawgs!
