Why I chose my major

Human development and family science captivated me from the start of my college journey. It's a field that resonates deeply with my interests and values. Exploring the complexities of human behavior, relationships and growth has been incredibly rewarding. This major aligns perfectly with my desire to understand and positively influence the lives of individuals and families. It's not just an academic pursuit for me; it's a calling that drives my passion and fuels my aspirations for the future.

What I like most about FACS

Human development and family science has been one of the most enriching aspects of my college journey thus far. Delving into the intricacies of human behavior, relationships and growth has not only deepened my understanding of the world but also ignited a passion within me to contribute positively to the lives of others. Through this field, I have discovered a profound sense of purpose and fulfillment, inspiring me to pursue further knowledge and opportunities for making meaningful impacts in the lives of individuals and families.

Post-graduation plans

I plan to pursue a child life internship with the goal of becoming a certified child life specialist. This internship represents a pivotal step in my journey, as it will afford me the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge and skills I've acquired throughout my academic pursuits in a real-world setting.
