- Why I chose my major
Coming to UGA, I wanted to get involved in a major that would strengthen my knowledge of development and my ability to advocate for children. HDFS courses and professors have prepared me well to enter into a job in the helping profession.
- What I like most about FACS
The College of Family and Consumer Sciences is a very welcoming place, with an obvious community between students, advisors and professors. I have found great mentors throughout my time at FACS and I appreciate each student and staff that has supported me in finishing my undergrad as a First Honor Graduate.
- Post-graduation plans
I plan to pursue Child Life, beginning with an internship post-grad. I am very excited to pursue Child Life and look forward to my FACS peers becoming co-workers and friends in the profession.
