I was exploring more options with my major and UGA’s HDFS major felt like a better fit for me.

- Why did you choose your major?
I wanted to focus on child development from a psychological perspective but also from a less clinical view.
- What activities or student orgs do you participate in?
Dogs for the Paws, HDFSA, Global Buddies, Students for Latinx Empowerment, Linguistics Club, SAFCS, Period Project, Planned Parenthood Generation Action
- What do you like about FACS?
FACS feels very welcoming and more tight knit than others might.
- Is there a faculty or staff person who has been particularly helpful during your transfer journey?
Julie Patterson has been very helpful in the process of transferring and figuring out details leading to graduation.
- What has your favorite UGA and/or FACS experience been?
Meeting people from all around.
