- Why did you choose your major?
I have always wanted to help people, but I did not know what field to pursue. I wanted to be an HDFS major because it has multiple career opportunities and paths post-graduation. Through some of the classes in this major, I have learned about different professions and that being an HDFS major relates to any field.
- Why did you want to be a FACS Ambassador?
I want to share my passion for FACS with incoming and current students at UGA and look forward to highlighting all the opportunities within FACS and the university.
- What do you like most about FACS?
I love the community. Everyone is open and talkative; making friends in classes and learning about new opportunities is easy.
- What advice would you give to new students?
Try to explore all of the opportunities UGA has to offer, such as clubs, organizations and internships.
- What is your favorite place to study on campus?
The Main Library or Science Library
- What is one thing you wish more people knew about FACS?
One thing I wish more people knew about FACS would be the wide variety of professions one could go into post-graduation. Every career incorporates some aspects of FACS and human development so I want people to know that FACS is the gateway to a wide variety of professions.
