Double Dawgs in Financial Planning

Receive your Master’s in Financial Planning while fulfilling requirements for your Bachelor’s degree. Continue to earn your undergraduate and graduate degrees within a five-year time frame!

Highlights

The Double Dawgs program is a great way to earn both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in only 5 years or less. As an undergrad, students can take up to 12 hours toward a graduate degree in financial planning with departmental permission. Because the Hope and Zell Miller scholarships fund up to 127 credit hours, the Double Dawgs option gives students the opportunity to take advantage of undergraduate scholarship funding for a graduate program.

Admission Requirements

  • Approval to take graduate courses
  • Reach at least 60 hours by the end of the semester in order to take the first graduate course in financial planning.
  • Have a minimum 3.0 GPA to take graduate courses.
  • Have approval from their undergraduate major for courses to count toward their undergraduate degree. If a Double Dawgs agreement exists, courses have been pre-approved.
  • Apply to the Graduate School before or after taking their first graduate course in Financial Planning depending on their undergraduate progress.
