Job Description

Angie Romero-Shih serves as an Academic Advisor in the Student Success and Advising Center in the College of Family and Consumer Sciences. She is responsible for advising Fashion Merchandising majors. Additionally, she assists in undergraduate recruitment and outreach events and facilitates student leadership and engagement opportunities.

Angie received a B.A. in Communication Studies and an MSW in Social Work from the University of Georgia. A staff member at UGA since 2014, she started at Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, then moved to the Exploratory Center in 2017, and finally came to FACS in 2023. She is also a licensed therapist.
