Ultimately, I hope to work as a Certified Child Life Specialist to reduce the impact of trauma on children and their families, advocate for patients, and help families navigate their child's diagnosis, injury, trauma, hospitalization, or disability.

Research
I assist Dr. Diane Bales in conducting research on several projects including the Georgia Better Brains for Babies (BBB) initiative, the USDA Rural Health and Safety grant-funded effort to prevent opioid misuse in rural Georgia, the Southern Agriculture Exchange (SAgE) effort to support farmers and farm families experiencing stress, and Healthy Child Care Georgia (HCCG).
