I have more than 25 years of experience in nutrition and health education, Cooperative Extension, and public health intervention in both U.S. and Puerto Rico. I am bilingual with experience in designing, conducting, and evaluating public health interventions targeted to Hispanic and other multi-ethnic underserved populations. “I am very excited about joining the group of very talented and enthusiastic individuals of the UGA SNAP-Ed state staff, and grateful for this new professional opportunity. I hope that my experience as a county extension agent will help us to continue thriving in serving our target audiences in the areas of nutrition, physical activity and obesity prevention”.

Job Description

As Program Coordinator I work closely with the Principal Investigator and the Project Director to provide administrative support and leadership to UGA SNAP-Ed programming and statewide implementation in compliance with USDA FNS, Georgia DHS, and University policies and guidelines
