Matthew has taught undergraduate courses in Latin, medieval law, and Western history and literature.
Job Description
Matthew Orsag serves as an Academic Advisor in the Student Success and Advising Center in the College of Family and Consumer Sciences. He is responsible for advising majors in Financial Planning, and he shares the responsibility of advising majors in Consumer Economics and Housing Management and Policy.
Matthew is an alumnus of Lee University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities in 2015 and of the University of Toronto, where he received a Master of Arts in Medieval Studies in 2016.
Prior to joining the FACS SSAC in June 2024, Matthew served as a Program Associate at the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education, where he worked with the Georgia Science and Engineering Fair and continuing education programs for adult learners.
