Apply for Preliminary Consideration
The Post-Baccalaureate DPD Application must be submitted for preliminary consideration to the program. Once your preliminary application has been reviewed, and you receive correspondence from the DPD director or program coordinator to confirm there is an available slot in the program, you must officially apply for admission to the UGA Graduate School using the steps below.

Apply to the UGA Graduate School
Complete these materials for the UGA Graduate School:
- Application to UGA Graduate School (complete this online).
- Application fee payable to the Graduate School: $75 for domestic and $100 for international students.
- Applicants should submit unofficial transcripts from all institutions attended as part of the online application.
- Official GRE scores (optional).
- Official TOEFL scores (international students only).
- Email addresses for three people who can provide recommendations for your admission (preferably people who can speak to your scholarly and/or professional ability). After you submit the online application, the graduate school will email your recommenders to instruct them on how to submit their recommendations online. Please inform your recommenders that they will receive this email. Letters of recommendation should discuss your potential for graduate studies and a career in nutritional sciences.
- A statement of purpose no more than 2 pages in length that explains why you want to pursue this program and your goals that can be reasonably met by attaining this degree.
- The ETS School Code used for reporting GRE scores is "5813."
