Our faculty is made up of family scientists, marriage and family therapists, developmental psychologists, sociologists and gerontologists. By choosing to study with us, you will have the opportunity to apprentice with highly regarded scholars who engage in cutting edge research.

Approach

We focus on how individuals are influenced by family processes as well as how individuals and families are influenced by their social context such as socioeconomic status, race/ethnicity, and community characteristics. Our graduate students work with faculty who approach these issues in various ways including:

  • Development of social policy
