Training Professionals

We study the impact of training on child welfare professionals' capacity to teach relationship education skills.

The Healthy Relationship and Marriage Education Training (HRMET) project was a multi-state initiative to equip professionals with information and strategies to strengthen couple relationships in an effort to meet the safety, permanency, and well-being needs of vulnerable children in the child welfare system. Dr. Ted Futris led the evaluation effort that informed curriculum design and examined training impact.
