Glenn and Helen Burton Feeding the Hungry Scholarship | This scholarship is for Ph.D. students holding assistantships and whose research involves Human Nutrition for food or feed. When the recipients have completed requirements for their Ph.D. degrees, they will give a public lecture describing the research and how it will help feed people. At the lectures, acknowledgement shall be given to the Glenn and Helen Burton Feeding the Hungry Fund in the College of Family and Consumer Sciences. | x | NUTR | |||

The selection will be made based on merit, service, and involvement in extracurricular activities such as student governance and leadership. Financial need may be one of the criteria used in making a selection. Sharon Boone Hamner Foods and Nutrition Scholarship | This scholarship is for a graduate student within the Masters or PhD programs in NUTR who is creative in the use of animal models to study human diseases. While financial need should be a consideration, scholarly excellence professional promise and leadership demonstration should be first considered. Preference will be given to a United States citizen. This scholarship is for a FACS student enrolled in classes to complete the Disabilities Studies Certificate Program or a FACS Education majors. If there are no qualified FACS Education majors, any student majoring in any subject may be awarded. Students should be a rising junior or senior. Preference will be given to students who have demonstrated, through course work and/or volunteer work and internships, a strong interest in working with middle and high school students or with a social service agency. |

This scholarship is for a rising junior or senior majoring in Financial Planning. Students should be a full-time student with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 and be employed part-time approximately 10 hours per week. The FACS Alumni Association Scholarship shall be selected by the FACS Scholarship Committee and awarded to a student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate FACS major. The student shall have a 3.0 GPA.
