"I got to go to Downtown Atlanta to the Terry College of Business Education Center in Buckhead. They are renovating several floors or their office and classroom space. A few other floors had already been completed so it was cool to get to see what it will actually look like when it is completed."

Leah Bailey Interiors
"This summer I’m interning for Leah Bailey Interiors in Savannah, Georgia. I was hired as a design intern, but I also work on the sales floor some days when the designers don’t need extra help. Leah Bailey is the owner of the firm, as well as the two stores in Savannah and Bluffton. My internship is paid, I get paid $15 an hour."

"After landing and putting our things at the hotel, we went to see the FIT displays. First, we saw some work done by their fashion students. Then we went next door to see the work done by their interior design student. They had many vision boards and models to display their projects. After that, we went to get some New York Pizza for dinner."

FI Students In NEW YORK!
"Our first day in New York started off strong! We visited Kravet which is a home furnishing company. When we walked in, we were greeted with such warm welcomes and were given a tour of their space! Personally, this was such an educational experience for me. This visit allowed me to see and touch different furniture, wallcoverings, trimming, and accessories."
