A Nutritional Tour of Switzerland, Germany, and Austria
Students who participate in this program will have a unique opportunity to explore the rich culture and history of Switzerland, Germany and Austria while learning about food and nutrition. You'll better understand the food, nutrition and culture of these countries by spending time in beautiful cities including Geneva, Lucerne, Zurich, Salzburg, and Munich. Some of the exciting planned excursions and events include visits to the Vaduz Castle, excursion in the Swiss Alps, Munich Glockenspiel, the Lindt Chocolate museum, and many more. Students will tour a winery, local food markets, a chocolatier, brewery, and attend several cooking classes with gourmet chefs. Estimated program fee will be approximately $4,500-$4,800. COURSES OFFERED:
• NUTR 5710 Study Tour in Nutritional Sciences
• KINS 4160/6160 Health and Food Culture of Europe
• Taught by UGA Faculty; 6 credit hours
PROGRAM FEE INCLUDES:
• 15 Nights in Geneva, Lucerne, Zurich, Liechtenstein, Salzburg, and Munich
• Breakfast each morning, a few select meals
• 12 Academic excursions and activities

Financial Aid
UGA students studying abroad in UGA study abroad programs only need to meet the standard requirements to receive financial aid. Once accepted into a study abroad program for UGA direct credit, the UGA registration process is done the same as if on-campus, therefore, no additional paperwork for financial aid disbursement is required.
